This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Event Recorders as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).
Shared Health is accepting proposals for the provision of Event Recorders for the Province of Manitoba.
Proponents should submit option(s) for Post-warranty services which may or may not form part of this Agreement. As a member of the Canadian Medical Equipment Protection Plan (CMEPP), the Purchaser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept any proposal submitted with or without accepting the proposal for Post-Warranty services submitted or associated therewith, if any.
Proponents are also advised that should it be determined that the successful Proponent(s) equipment offering contains any consumables, components, accessories and/or services that are proprietary to the equipment and/or sole source to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or exclusive Distributor, the Purchaser may choose, in its sole discretion, to not issue another competitive bid and proceed to form an Agreement for any or all of the above or for the Distributor at any time during and/or after the expiry of this anticipated Agreement.
