CR-078-SH-22 - Request for Information For Supportive Housing Forensic Mental Health

Shared health is seeking information on organizations interested in filling a gap in supportive housing services to forensic mental health patients. These individuals have been deemed not criminally responsible and fall under the jurisdiction of the criminal review board who will determine what level of supervision and monitoring is required for each patient once deemed eligible to be discharged from hospital to the community. The goal is to assist individuals with recovery so they can be fully integrated into the community. On average, most individuals will be able to transition into independent community placements within two years. Some individuals may require longer lengths of time in a supportive forensic care environment.
