Automatic coagulation timer system suited for point-of-care use within a Cardiac catheterization laboratory capable of measuring the activated coagulation time (ACT). The system should be capable of monitoring heparin therapy during cardiac catheterization, EP and pacemaker implant procedures providing repeatable, rapid and reliable results.
