This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the supply and install of turnstiles at Health Sciences Centre, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).

The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).

The scope of this RFP includes the supply and install of turnstiles at Health Sciences Centre, specifically:

Phase 1 Requirements (Immediate):

820 Sherbrook, Estimated Quantity: 5 – 6
771 Bannatyne, Quantity: 2
707 McDermot, Quantity: 3
Emily / Tecumseh Parkade Tunnel: 4 - 6

Phase 2 Requirements (Optional):

Women’s Hospital, Estimated Quantity: 6
700 William, Estimated Quantity: 6
735 Notre Dame, Estimated Quantity: 2

The Supplier will be required to supply and install the turnstiles. The Purchaser will provide the electrical and data up to the equipment.

The term of the agreement is to be for a period of twelve (12) months (to align with the warranty period), with an option in favour of the Purchaser to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for a three (3) year optional term plus an additional two (2) optional terms of two (2) years each.
