GE-021-SH - REC Next Generation Sequencing based End-to-End Solution for Whole Exome Sequenc

Health requires an NGS-based End-to-End Solution for Whole Exome Sequencing (WES), as outlined in this document (the “Product”) and has identified one vendor (“Illumina Inc”) to provide the Product.
Shared Health Inc has reason to believe that only the Intended Vendor is able to provide this Product. The purpose of this Request is to confirm that there is no competition for this Product.
Shared Health is seeking a solution that allows it to repatriate all functions associated with its Next Generation Whole Exome Sequencing and large panel (>500 genes) for clinical testing to allow Shared Health to mitigate the costs and administrative burden of using third parties to complete portions of testing.
The solution needs to provide capacity to accelerate and further develop and expand genomic testing including whole exome sequencing (WES) and large panels (>500 genes) for clinical testing. This allows for redundancy and ability to develop assays on lower-throughput sequencers and scale up to higher throughput sequencers.
Please be advised that the purpose of this Request is not to pre-qualify vendors for an upcoming competitive procurement process, if any.
Any Response submitted by a vendor as requested in this Request will not be considered as binding on the vendor.
All costs and any liabilities incurred by a vendor including (without limitation) those associated with the preparation of the vendor's Response to this Request will be borne entirely by the vendor.
