Description

Notice is hereby given by Shared Health Inc. of its intent to award a contract to BD Biosciences for the purchase of Lyse Wash Assist sample preparation systems and related Service Maintenance as further described below.

SERVICES:

It is the intent to purchase two of the BD FACS Lyse Wash Assist sample preparation systems (and the related equipment maintenance) to perform cell washing and red cell lysing procedures in support of flow cytometry immunophenotyping applications. The equipment will be utilized at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

BD Biosciences shall provide all equipment, and equipment maintenance services as further defined below and in Appendix A, (attached).

Respondents are advised that systems utilizing plates will not be considered as they are not compatible with the flow cytometers currently in use at the site. In addition, the laboratory does not require the ability to pipette samples and/or add antibodies to the samples.
