DI-210-MB-21 - Provision of Computed Tomography (CT) to the Regional Health Authorities of Mani

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Provision of Computed Tomography (CT) to the Regional Health Authorities of Manitoba as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).

The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).

The clinical requirements for the scanners are outlined within this proposal. Proponents should propose CT scanners suitable to the clinical requirements identified based on all acuity levels within their product line.  The intent is to evaluate based on Medium Acuity systems however all computed tomography systems within the successful Proponents product line will be awarded.

It is requested to include a mid-lifecycle technology upgrade of the CT scanners to be implemented around year 5 following installation (or as mutually agreed).  This should include bringing the CT scanner up to the latest version of software and any associated hardware upgrades required to do so.

The majority of purchases off this contract are expected to be at acute care sites (either ED or urgent care sites), without the need for specialized cardiac imaging.  Proponents are to consider the appropriate level of technology when submitting their proposal.   Pricing and information should also be provided for other options within the Proponent’s CT product line with Shared Health reserving the right to select the system in the product line for each purchase (high end cardiac scanners, portable etc; that will meet the site’s needs but that these systems will not be evaluated).
