This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Housekeeping Equipment Maintenance, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).
Shared Health Inc. is accepting responses to this RFP with the intent to enter a three (3) year with an option to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for one (1) additional one (1) year team agreement at the Purchaser’s sole discretion for the provision of Housekeeping Equipment Maintenance to Purchaser as listed in Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).
The selected Proponent will be required to provide housekeeping equipment maintenance and repair services for various brands of scrubbers (walk-behind), burnishers (walk-behind, sit & stand ride-on, and hand-held), polishers, steamers, wet-vacuums, vacuums, carpet extractors, and other housekeeping equipment as required. These services are required to extend the life of the equipment, minimize breakdowns, and improve the overall efficiency of the equipment while reducing operation costs
The Services may include but not limited to:
- Maintenance/Repair: The restoration or replacement of parts as necessitated by the wear and tear, damage, failure of parts, etc.
- Preventative Maintenance: As determined by the Purchaser, the Supplier may be asked to provide preventative maintenance on the equipment on a prescribed schedule.
- Supply and delivery of parts and materials: The Supplier shall have the ability to deliver parts and materials as required.
The majority of the Purchasers are located within Winnipeg and surrounding area; all Purchasers are within the Province of Manitoba.
The purpose of this RFP is to establish an Agreement between one (1) Proponent and Shared Health Inc. and the Purchaser to provide the products as outlined in this RFP.
Proponents are advised that should it be determined that Purchasers within Winnipeg and/or within Manitoba and/or other public entities within the Province of Manitoba will require the same or similar products as this RFP for the purposes of ensuring compatibility, Shared Health Inc. may not issue another competitive tender.
The awarded Agreement(s) is anticipated to commence January 1, 2022.
