CE-160-MB-21 - Electrosurgical and Smoke Evacuation Equipment, Accessories and Consumables

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for provision of Electrosurgical and Smoke Evacuation Equipment, Accessories and Consumables. Argon Beam Technology will be included, and products utilized for reduction and filtering of laser plume or excessive plume are also being requested.  Vessel sealing/Energy equipment and consumables are not being considered at this time under this RFP. The provision of loaner generators and smoke evacuation equipment are a requirement except for Argon Beam technology. Further details are included in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The selected equipment system(s) will set the standard for future acquisitions.
The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).
It is the intent to enter into an Agreement with one supplier per category, where possible.  Provision of service for the equipment will be required through the term of this agreement including any option years that may be taken.
The term is for a five-year term. There would be the option in favour of the Purchaser to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for successive three (3) one year terms.
