DFA 2022-45 - Taylor Bridge Culvert Replacement

As a result of spring flood damages in 2022, the RM of Headingley requires the replacement of a main drainage culvert that outlets to the Assiniboine River. The project consists of the following work;
Installation of 1200mm CSP Culvert, in 6.0m increments (unless documentation is provided otherwise by the Contractor’s Geotechnical Engineer), via open cut methods, with vertical trench wall excavation.
Culvert bedding and initial backfill to be filter gravel, wrapped in separation geotextile.
Site restoration to include step cut repair of existing slope failures and restoration of existing pathway.
Landscaping restoration to include topsoil, seed and ECB.
