RED RIVER VALLEY SCHOOL DIVISION
is accepting tender price submissions for
the replacement of the
existing air conditioning system
at Rosenort School in Rosenort, MB.
The existing air conditioning system is a “chiller” system that uses well water to cool the
main area of the school. This water has a high salt content, thus resulting in numerous
failures within the system, including pumps, coils and piping. The goal is to replace the
chiller system with a refrigerant system integrated into the existing ventilation. The
selected contractor will be responsible for the following:
● Remove the well water cooling coils and replace them with air conditioning.
● Installing thermostat controls in the basement utility room by the existing
pneumatic panel.
● Supply and install the necessary components for a refrigerant system.
● Setup a compound outside the southeast entrance of the school for the air
conditioner compressors.
● Work with our current control systems provider to have the new system
accessible with our web controls program.
● Supply and replace any component that is currently compromised that is
necessary for the new system.
