Description

York Factory First Nation is inviting general contractors to submit sealed bids in care of the architect of record at the address below for construction of a new 538 m2 addition and renovations to an existing 1,433 m2 elementary school at York Factory First Nation at York Landing, Manitoba. Work includes a new warehouse at 80 m2, new triplex teacherage at 228 m2, renovations to existing triplex and duplex teacherages and landscape improvements.

Plans and specifications for this project may be obtained digitally from MERX and the Winnipeg Construction Association beginning Friday August 11, 2017 at 2pm.

Tenders shall be accompanied by a 10% bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a labour and material bond each equivalent to 50% of the contract value.

A non-mandatory pre-tender site visit will take place 10am, August 21st, 2017.

Sealed bids will be received at the office of Architecture49, 1600 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, before 2:00pm (local time) Thursday August 31. 2017. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
