179-00269-00 - Percy E. Moore Hospital Renovation Project

Peguis First Nation is inviting general contractors to submit sealed bids in care of the architect of record at the address below for renovations of a 16 bed, four-bassinet Hospital facility located on the Peguis First Nation in the town of Hodgson, Manitoba, approximately 200 km north of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Work is dispersed throughout the hospital facility, including but not limited to the following general descriptions for each area of Work:

1. Coolers and Housekeeping: Replace kitchen food storage equipment; renovate existing spaces to accommodate housekeeping workstations, and replace body cooler equipment; modify existing lab casework, connect adjacent rooms with new door, relocate refrigerators, freezers, and surplus storage equipment; modify HVAC, power, security, and communications systems.
2. Washrooms:  Renovate multiple public washrooms adjacent to Public Waiting Room; includes architectural, mechanical and electrical work.
3. Security Doors:  Replace cross-corridor security doors; modify access control and fire alarm systems.
4. Medical Gas:  Construct new bulk oxygen storage, and upgrade medical gas systems; replace lighting in gas distribution space.
5. Kitchen Lighting:  Replace lighting.
6. Mechanical Systems:  Replace HVAC air handler, exhaust fans, controls, coils, medical vacuum pump, sanitary drainage piping, and hot water recirculation systems throughout facility.
7. Outpatient Rooms / IV Therapy:  Renovate multiple rooms to provide consolidated Outpatient IV Therapy facility; includes architectural, mechanical and electrical work.
