The Municipality of Killarney-Turtle Mountain is in the Southwestern Region of Manitoba sharing a border with the United States of America.

The Municipality has identified improved access to telecommunications infrastructure as a top priority. We are requesting proposals to provide all residents, rural and urban, as well as businesses and institutions with affordable, reliable, secure fibre-optic highest-speeds internet connectivity. 

The Municipality is prepared to contribute towards projects that move us closer to our vision of having 100% of our geographical area covered through an optimally connected, state-of-the-art, continuously upgraded network. The terms being, that financial and in-kind investments of governments in network developments which will be owned by private companies, will only be made with assurances of on-going economic and quality-of-life benefits for our residents, businesses, and institutions.
