The Municipality of Killarney – Turtle Mountain is accepting tenders for 2021 Brush Truck, please see specs sheet attached for a full listing.
Council reserves the right to accept tender completely or in part. The lowest tender is not necessarily accepted.
Closing date for receiving tenders is March 5th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
Tenders must be received either electronically through Merx or by mail.

2021 Brush Truck Spec Sheet
The Municipality of Killarney – Turtle Mountain is looking to purchase a Brush Truck for wildland firefighting. Below is a list of specs we would like, please review and provide us with a quote on this unit. If there is a difference from the specs listed that you offer, please provide a detailed description of what you are proposing instead of the listed spec.
- 2021 Ford F350 XL, 4x4, Crew Cab, Long Box, 7.3 Litre Gas Engine, Oxford White in color
- Federal Signal Emergency LED lighting and siren – 360^ visibility – light bar with takedown and alley lights, flood lights, front grille lights, front and rear side mounted fender lights, Rear mounted emergency lighting.
- Rear Traffic Advisor Lighting
- Center console with lighting/siren controls cleanly mounted
- Aluminum Checker Plate storage boxes – 1 Transverse mounted at front of box approx. 24” wide by 20” tall and 76” deep, 4 mounted along the sides (2 per side) approx. 24” wide by 20” tall and 15” deep. All cabinets shall have LED lighting inside, lift up doors with D ring handles.
- Steps and Grab handles mounted at rear of truck for access into rear of box
- Rear Fire pump skid unit -48” x 96”– consisting of 200 US Gallon Water Tank, 8 US Gallon Foam Unit, with fill tower and tank cover.
- Ultra High Pressure Fire Pump – (similar to CET Pump Model UPP-20V) – pump shall deliver 11 US GPM @ 1450 PSI, Self Priming.
- Pump driven by Honda 4 Stroke GX630 Gas Engine with electric start, 1.5 gallon fuel tank, and connected to chassis battery
- Control panel installed on pump, consisting of hour meter, key start, foam mixture controls and discharge levers.
- High Pressure Foam System with 3/8” x 150 Foot, electric hose reel. Hose shall be high pressure steel braid.
- Triple Use Fog Gun – Fog, Jet, Atomized.
- 12 Volt Air Compressor to allow for winterization.
- 2 Front Mounted Grass Fire Nozzles mounted under front bumper and controlled by 2 chassis OEM upfitter switches.
- Rear V-Shaped Chevron on rear to be compliant with NFPA Standards.
- 4” Scotchlite Reflective Trim applied to cab and body of truck, in compliance with NFPA 1901
