MHI-0005-2019 - eGIS Data Modeler

MHI is seeking one to three individual contractor(s) to provide GE SmallWorld (eGIS) data modelling services as needed commencing November 1, 2019.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
 
The contractor will be responsible to:
 

• Assist in the creation of test Substation data, provide input into the development of the initiative plan and schedule, assist with documentation to create and implement all data required to create an internal view of the electric Sub Station in eGIS that is the same as the existing SLD (Single Line Drawings) including all required attribution into eGIS.
• Compile all data required to create an internal view of the electric Sub Stations in eGIS that mimic the existing SLD including all required attribution into eGIS.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure they are informed of activities as required and that appropriate policy and procedures are being followed.
• Travel within Manitoba will be required
• Ensure that all laws and regulations, both domestic and foreign are complied with and that all company activities are carried out in an ethical and environmentally friendly manner.
• Ensure projects are effectively implemented and work to maintain customer satisfaction while ensuring contractual requirements are met. Proactively identify problems that could negatively impact the project schedule or stakeholder perceptions and develop strategies to address the concerns.
• Represent the interests of MHI with existing and potential clients.
