DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK:
The Work shall consist of the supply of all that is required to fabricate, supply and deliver transmission line and substation lattice steel structures including hardware, non-exhaustive, bolts, step bolts and washers in accordance with the Technical Requirements - Standard Material Specifications 30-3M latest revision (Supply of Transmission Structures) and 30-7M latest revision (Supply of Structural Fasteners, Bolts, Nuts and Washers.)
The Total Weight Range: 100,001 to 499,999 lbs may include any of the following:
- ITEM 1 Miscellaneous Steel100,001 - 200,000 lbs.– with Hardware
- ITEM 2 Miscellaneous Steel 200,001 - 300,000 lbs.- with Hardware
- ITEM 3 Lattice Steel 300,001 - 400,000 lbs
- ITEM 4 Lattice Steel 400,001 - 499,999 lbs
- ITEM 5 Lattice Steel Rush Order (Purchaser’s Option)
- ITEM 6 Trial Assembly Steel Structures (Purchaser’s Option)
- Supply labour and service, trial assembly of galvanized Steel and hardware in accordance to the Technical Requirements, Manitoba Hydro Drawings and Standard Material Specification 30-3M latest revision and 30-7M latest revision.
- ITEM 7 On site Welding (Purchaser’s Option)
- Pricing the specialty hardware-field bolts not identified in the SMS and/or extra welding on-site when required (labour rate/hour and equipment /machine rentals

(a)CSA W47.1 Division 1 or 2 Certified; or CSA Division 3 with proof of application with Canadian Welding Bureau for Certification to Division 2
(b)Proof that demonstrates bolts have a minimum average Charpy impact strength of 20 joules at 20 deg. C through sample Charpy tests in accordance with ASTM A370 & ASTM E23, as per MH SMS 30-07M (Clause 7.2(b)).
