This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Department of Central Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) on behalf of the owner of the project, The Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation (“Owner”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a security upgrades as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3).
 
CPPD requires the services of a Contractor for a security upgrades in a residential townhouses located at 300 Aspen Grove, Flin Flon, MB. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the supply and installation of a complete and operational CCTV security camera system. This includes the cameras, headend, remote viewing connections, interconnection wiring and all required accessories. The supply and installation of a complete intrusion detection and card access control system for the storage shed. Includes devices, controllers, remote access connections, interconnection wiring and all required accessories. Supply and installation of new site lighting equipment. Includes luminaires, power supply, control and all required accessories. Work site location will be occupied during construction.
 
A Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on September 17, 2021 at 11:00AM local time.
Mandatory attendance at the pre-bid meeting is required of all general and electrical contractors. All other sub trades are optional attendance.
Proponents are to pre-register by email to Paul Surgeoner prior to paul.surgeoner@gov.mb.ca. A link to the meeting will be sent as confirmation of attendance. It is the Proponents responsibility to ensure registration and confirmation has been received prior to the meeting date.
 
Deadline for questions is September 29, 2021. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca
 
Bid submission deadline is October 13, 2021 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an e-bid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e-bid requirements.
