Description

This bid opportunity is open to all interested suppliers.
Manitoba requires the services of a contractor to perform an exterior retrofit and site works to a 17 unit low-rise walk-up apartment.
The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of bedroom windows and patio exit assemblies; exterior repairs and painting of the second storey; site grading / landscaping; tree grooming & removal; a new equipment shed complete with branch electrical circuit, a double container refuse bin enclosure; and parking lot upgrades: parking rails & support posts, parking electrical services, pavement marking and signage, with a ramp for the main entrance.

A mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 8, 2021. Bidders who wish to attend the site visit must pre-register with the Contract Administrator via email at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca prior to noon of July 7, 2021.
When pre-registering, provide the name of the individual attending the site visit along with their email and telephone contact information.

Bidders are to meet at 91 Eric Street, Winnipeg, MB
The attendance sheet will not be passed around for signing. Attendance sheets will be prefilled based on pre-registration. Your attendance will be checked off and confirmed by the Project Manager.

Deadline for questions is July 15, 2021. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca
Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at ed.krosta@gov.mb.ca .The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.

Bid submission deadline is July 22, 2021 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an e-bid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e-bid requirements.
