Description

This is a public tender open to all Bidders.

Manitoba Housing requires the services of a contractor to perform an elevator modernization on two passenger elevators servicing thirteen floors.
The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the complete furnishing and installing of all labour and materials required to modernize two geared traction passenger elevators. Work site location will be occupied during construction.
An optional site visit is scheduled for November 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM Central Standard Time (CST). Suppliers who wish to attend the site visit must pre-register with the Contract Administrator via email at nicole.doherty@gov.mb.ca prior to the end of the business day on November 9, 2020. Due to COVID restrictions, only 5 people can attend the site at once. The first 3 responders will attend at 10am, the second 3 will attend at 11am, and so forth.
Deadline for questions is November 12, 2020. All questions are to be submitted via email to the Contract Administrator at nicole.doherty@gov.mb.ca.
All Requests for Equal are to be submitted to the Project Manager via email at chris.cruz@gov.mb.ca. RFEs must be submitted on the form found at https://www.gov.mb.ca/housing/pubs/procurement/request_for_equals_form_psu.pdf. Deadline for submission is 10 business days prior to submission deadline.
Submission deadline is November 19, 2020 at 2:00:00 PM CST. It is solely the Bidders responsibility to ensure its bid is submitted in accordance with the electronic bid submission instructions. No other form of bid submission will be accepted. Bids that do not comply with submission instructions will be deemed non-compliant.

If Bidders are not available to attend the scheduled site visit but still wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the Project Manager, Chris Cruz, at 204-805-4711. Manitoba Housing provides all tenants 48 hours notice prior to entering a unit. All Bidders requesting to view the interior of an occupied site must allow Manitoba Housing time to provide notice to the tenants.
