The Government of Manitoba (Manitoba) is requesting bid submissions for
the Supply and Delivery of Custom Laser Cut Aluminum Signs for the
Department of Environment and Climate Change (Parks Division), for 3
provincial parks (Clearwater Lake, St. Malo and Moose Lake), as a
one-time purchase.
#Manitoba Parks is making improvements to the Clearwater Lake, St. Malo
and Moose Lake Provincial Parks.
#Clearwater Lake Provincial Park is located North of The Pas,
approximately 675km north of Winnipeg via Highways 6, 60 and 10.
#St. Malo is located 72km south of Winnipeg via highway 59.
#Moose Lake is located 215km South-East of Winnipeg via Highway 1 East
and Highway 12 South.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Work includes the fabrication and supply/delivery of new #feature# sign
graphics. The purpose of the RFQ is to procure custom laser cut
weathering (Corten) steel and anodized aluminum graphics/text from a
qualified supplier including fabrication and delivery to Clearwater
Lake, St. Malo and Moose Lake Provincial Parks. Sign backing structure
and installation will be completed by Manitoba Parks regional operations
staff.
# The Service Provider shall prepare proofs for approval from Adobe
Illustrator files provided by Manitoba.
# The Service Provider shall manufacture the signs from weathering
(Corten) steel and Enameled Anodized Aluminum.
# The Service Provider shall supply the signs, packaged to prevent
damage, to the Manitoba Parks maintenance compounds in Clearwater Lake,
St. Malo and Moose Lake Provincial Parks, Manitoba.
# The service provide shall also supply an installation template for the
graphics, to be used by Manitoba Parks Regional Operations and
Maintenance staff to install graphics on the sign structure and backing
at Clearwater Lake, St. Malo and Moose Lake Provincial Parks.

(may be made up of several panels, as required), a Manitoba Parks Logo
in ¼# Enameled Anodized Aluminum (Black); and a Manitoba/Bison Logo in
¼# Enameled Anodized Aluminum (Black), as well as custom text in ¼#
#Corten# Steel.

mounting onto the sign backing (using bolts when installed on wood at
St. Malo and Moose Lake)
#,,Graphic files in PDF and EPS format are provided on the MERX website
for production of signage. Adobe Illustrator files will be provided
upon award of contract, and additional formats may be made available
upon request.
#,,Installation template to allow for precise placement of graphics and
location of hole/drilling locations for blind mounting studs
#,,Pricing must include all delivery costs.
MANDATORY SUBMISSION (PASS/FAIL):
1) Bidders must submit a portfolio showcasing at least three (3)
completed projects within the last five (5) years that are similar in
scope and complexity to the signage requirements outlined in this
procurement. Vendors to submit 8 ½ x 11 high-quality image (or
collection of images) per completed project and include date of
completion, location, client contact information and budget.
Only Bidders who meet this mandatory requirement will be considered for
further evaluation. Failure to provide a portfolio and demonstrate
relevant experience as outlined above will result in rejection of the
bid from the procurement process.
2)All bids must be submitted on or before the deadline date and cut-off
time of 4:00PM (CDT).
3)All bids must be signed by a representative of the Bidder with the
authority to bind the Bidder.

QUOTATION EVALUATION:
Generally, the lowest overall price of an acceptable item(s) in
accordance with the terms & conditions of the RFQ will be awarded the
order.
Bids must meet all of the mandatory requirements of the RFQ to be
considered compliant and proceed to the next step of the evaluation
process. It is the Bidder#s responsibility to ensure that it meets all
of the mandatory requirements of this procurement.
Manitoba will compare the prices of all compliant Bids to determine the
Bid ranking. All compliant Bids will be ranked in order of lowest

Government of Manitoba at its discretion may award the order to more
than one vendor if the lowest overall price bid does not cover all line
items, or there are lower bids on specific items. If you win the award
