The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Labour, Consumer Protection and Government Services, Procurement and Supply Chain, seeks to select Proponent through this Request for Proposal (RFP) process to provide Information and Communication Technology (IT) Advisory and Research Services, related resource libraries (web based) and analytical/advisory services that are unbiased, accurate, clear, relevant, timely, and comprehensive.
Manitoba invests more than $100 million annually on IT related products and services to support the delivery of government programs. For this, timely access to high quality information and analytical advisory services inclusive of emerging trends and benchmarks for tactical and strategic decision making is imperative. This includes but is not limited to policy-development, resource planning and management, project development, management and evaluation, IT business planning, vendor assessment, IT procurement, contract negotiations, privacy and security, industry trend analysis, enhancing business-IT alignment, information management, governance models, alternate delivery models, and supporting business process transformation. Timely access to quality information and advisory services mean Manitoba executive and staff can efficiently evaluate and formulate IT decisions.
Manitoba requires an advisory and research services Contractor that actively engages Manitoba executive and staff during the Agreement term to understand Manitoba’s priorities, initiatives and areas of interest to proactively offer relevant information, tools and analysis through a variety of means. This includes articles, reference models, tools, remote interactions or webinars, presentations and conversations with experienced subject matter experts.
