Description

Manitoba’s Department of Justice has deployed a video conferencing solution within Manitoba courtrooms and provincial correctional centres to schedule and initiate virtual court hearings. The solution consists stand-alone Cisco codec units, Microsoft Teams, and Manitoba managed workstations. Some of the video conferencing capabilities are not available in the current solution, which requires the Department of Justice to deploy various workarounds to connect all relevant parties to these virtual court hearings.
Manitoba is looking to engage a proponent that has the capability, professional services, and proven expertise to deliver the following:

Implement a pilot solution for selected provincial court or correctional facility sites to successfully conduct virtual court hearings.
If pilot is successful according to the evaluation criteria outlined in Appendix B, section 14 of this RFP, scale the solution to the remaining sites.
