Ditching along First Bay South in Pinawa Industrial Park
Project Description:
Excavation of new ditch grade and alignment along the North and West side of the existing roadway.
Scope:
Excavation to design grades and truck haul of waste material from site to a location designated by Pinawa Public Works. Project beginning at 0+00 and finishing at 3+0000 on drawing S2. The work consists of a 2 m bottom ditch, with a 3:1 slope to the existing roadway. Relocate existing culverts to correct location and depth. Install new culverts where required. Ensure terms of drainage permit are adhered to.
Survey:
The drainage design will be staked for alignment and grade prior to construction by the Owner. Control points will be provided prior to construction for contractor’s use. Contractor is responsible for survey during construction, and the cost to replace damaged/missing control. Grades will be checked following completion of work quality assurance. Drainage grade tolerance is +/- 35 mm.
Measurement and Payment:
Ditching will be paid by the lineal meter. It will be measured by survey of the actual length completed.
