Description

Opaskwayak Cree Nation Chief and Council are calling tenders for construction of a water treatment plant upgrade including installation of new raw water piping. The project works have a final completion date of January 29, 2021. Sealed tenders will be received up to 11:00 a.m. on November 8, 2019 at the office of JR Cousin Consultants Ltd. (JRCC), 91A Scurfield Blvd. Winnipeg, MB.

Works generally include:

3,920 m of 300 mm diameter raw water piping
Mechanization of two raw water wells including site works, controls etc. (wells installed previously)
Upgrades to the Big Eddy WTP including: a new outdoor genset, moving an existing interior wall, 6 new pressure filters, new chemical feed system, 1 new distribution pump, upgraded HVAC, new PLC control panel and SCADA system, new MCC and relocating existing electrical equipment, 2 new air scour blowers, various building repairs and upgrades
Construction of a new 2 chamber concrete reservoir with intercell piping connected to the existing reservoir chambers and small building on top of the reservoir hatches
Replacement of an existing pressure reducing valve on the distribution system
Installation of a new waterproofing liner on the existing Townsite Reservoir
