Description

The Wauzhushk Onigum Nation (WON) is proceeding with a water and wastewater systems upgrade project within the community. The scope of work consists of installation of approximately:

3,500 m of watermain piping including a lake crossing
2,050 m of water service line piping with residential pipe connections
820 m of forcemain piping including a lake crossing
5,500 m³ of rock blasting
Upgrading of two lift stations and the conversion of the existing water treatment plant to a booster station
Decommissioning of the existing sewage treatment plant and lagoon
Restoration works.
