W-723.03 - Elkhorn Lagoon Expansion, Forcemain, and Lift Station

The RM of Wallace-Woodworth is calling tenders for the Elkhorn Lagoon Expansion, Forcemain, and Lift Station project. The project works must be completed within 95 working days. Sealed tenders will be received up to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the office of JR Cousin Consultants Ltd. (JRCC), 91A Scurfield Blvd. Winnipeg, Manitoba.

A partial listing of the works is as follows:

1. 190,000 m3 of earthwork for construction of a re-worked and re-compacted clay lined 2-cell lagoon expansion.
2. Placement of 6,400 m2 of rip rap on the new cells with provision for an additional 8,260 m2 of rip rap.
3. Construction of a new access road, truck turnaround and concrete spillway including 675 tonnes of A-base, 1,530 tonnes of C-base, geotextile and culvert.
4. Five intercell and discharge piping assemblies with valves.
5. Removal of sludge from the existing primary cell and spreading on the finished floor of the new lagoon cells.
6. Miscellaneous items including testing, signage, ditching, barb-wire fencing, cattle guards, seeding, etc.
7. Installation of a new lift station including concrete barrel, duplex pumping system, instrumentation, control panel, backup genset and decommission of existing lift station.
8. Installation of a new 1,300 m long 200 mm diameter HDPE forcemain including CPR crossing, and installation into the new lagoon primary cell.
9. Installation of 200 m of 100 mm diameter Low Pressure Sewer (LPS) main, connection to existing LPS pipe and installation into the new lagoon primary cell.
10. Installation of new MH onto existing WWS pipe with 15 m of new 250 mm gravity sewer piping.
