20240925 - RFPQ Ground Source Heat Pump Contractors for EEAP and MEEO

Efficiency Manitoba is prequalifying Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) contractors throughout Manitoba to support our Energy Efficiency Assistance Program (EEAP) and Métis Energy Efficiency Offers (MEEO) for a minimum three-year term.
The EEAP and MEEO programs help qualifying low-to-moderate income households in Manitoba reduce their energy bills and increase the comfort of their homes by offering free or subsidized energy efficiency upgrades.
The MEEO program is delivered and funded in partnership with the Manitoba Métis Federation and serves Red River Métis citizens. The program is supported by Métis contractors registered with the Louis Riel Capital Corporation.
Customers that participate in the EEAP and MEEO programs will receive a home energy check-up to determine what energy efficiency upgrades their home is eligible for, including a GSHP. Eligible customers will be provided a list of pre-qualified GSHP contractors in Regions throughout Manitoba. Customers are encouraged to choose a contractor in a Region in or near their home to complete the installation.  
Installations must be completed by one contractor per home with minimal use of subcontractors. Qualified contractors must have a demonstrated ability to complete installation in most types of homes. This capability should extend to all measures in most types rural and urban homes. Efficiency Manitoba will pay contractors directly for completed installations based on the rate schedule.
