RFP6 - Assessing Physician Needs for Practice Support Resources

The focus of this RFP is on improving how we support physicians’ economic and professional well-being.

In recent years, and particularly through the pandemic, we’ve learned that physicians are looking for more support and more resources related to other aspects of managing a medical practice, including the “business” side of medicine (e.g. administrative/management duties), improving clinic or practice operations, optimizing patient flow, etc.

Physicians work in a variety of settings. Some are owned/operated by a Regional Health Authority and thus have more resources to run operations. Others are smaller, independent practices with less support and capacity for this.

Our goal is to identify what support physicians need and want, develop new resources or services to support them, and evaluate the impact.

This RFP focuses on the first step – a needs assessment, environmental scan and jurisdictional research.
