B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 Further to C3.1, a Site meeting will be held at 9 am on September 27, 2023 to provide Bidders access to the Site at 494 Tache Avenue.
B3.2 Bidders wishing to attend the Site Investigation are required to register by notifying Contract Administrator identified in D5 by email, a minimum of two (2) Business Days prior to date of the Site Investigation with each individual’s name and company.
B3.3 The Bidder is advised that the building is a nationally, provincially and municipally designated heritage site. All work is subject to review by the appropriate agencies for historically accurate restoration work. These agencies will designate their officers for periodic site inspections during the work.
B3.4 Changes to the Scope of Work due to on-site discoveries will be subject to review by the agencies for appropriate heritage restorage interventions.
B3.5 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
B3.6 The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done and all conditions that might affect their Bid or their performance of the Work, and shall assume all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or could have been determined through such inspection.
