D2. SCOPE OF WORK

D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the removal and disposal of the
existing BUR roof then the supply and installation of a 2 ply modified bitumen roof system on the
north flat roof area of the facility. This work shall include all mechanical and metals.

B3. SITE INVESTIGATION

B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Contract Administrator or an authorized representative will be
available at the Site at 9am on July 14, 2022 to provide Bidders access to the Site.

B3.2 The Bidder is advised that as the roof access is located within the building, masks
will be mandatory to enter the City of Winnipeg facility due to Covid 19 protocols for contractors.
Potential bidders will park in the compound and await entrance to the facility.
B3.3 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received
at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct
observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.

B3.4 The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done
and all conditions that might affect his/her Bid or his/her performance of the Work, and shall
assume all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or
could have been determined through such inspection.
