D3. SCOPE OF WORK
D3.1 The Work to be done under the proposed contract shall consist of a new 16,700 square foot (1,551.5 square meter) Vocational Wing addition to the Pembina Trails Collegiate structure. The new Vocational Wing includes class room and work space for Welding and Machining, Construction and Wood Technology, Food and Nutrition, and Culinary Arts programs. It also includes washroom, staff office and operational and maintenance support spaces.
D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Foundations;
(b) Superstructure;
(c) Building Envelope;
(d) Interior partitions and finishes;
(e) Mechanical systems;
(f) Electrical systems; and
(g) Site work including grading, drainage, utilities, services, and hard and soft landscaping.

B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Contract Administrator or an authorized representative will be available at the Site at 10:00 am on April 16, 2024 to provide Bidders access to the Site.
B3.2 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
B3.3 The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done and all conditions that might affect their Bid or their performance of the Work, and shall assume all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or could have been determined through such inspection.
