Description

D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of adding card access to the exterior doors of nine fire stations as per the drawings and specifications.

D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Upgrade existing exterior door hardware to accommodate new card access.
(b) Modify existing door frames to accommodate new card access.
(c) Replace door, door frame and glazing units with new unit and new hardware as noted on drawings and specifications.
(d) Return existing hardware and devices to City as noted on drawings and specifications.
(e) Provide new card access readers and all associated wiring and cabling on exterior doors and overhead doors as noted on drawings and specifications.
(f) Modify existing electrical panels and provide new electrical panels as noted on drawings and specifications.

D2.3 The following shall apply to the Work:
(a) City of Winnipeg Green Building Policy: New City-Owned Buildings and major additions;
