D3. SCOPE OF WORK
D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of:
(a) Concrete Pavement Preservation
(i) SB Main Street – 180 Main Street to Assiniboine River Bridge;
(ii) SB Main Street – Mayfair Avenue to Queen Elizabeth Way Bridge;
(iii) SB St. Mary’s Road – Queen Elizabeth Way Bridge Abutment to Eugenie Street; and
(iv) NB St. Mary’s Road – Eugenie Street to S. Side of Queen Elizabeth Way Bridge Abutment, also Includes Goulet Street from Main St to 170 m East of Main Street (Domo gas stn.) and Marion Street from Main Street to No. 60 Marion Street.
(b) Asphalt Mill and Fill
(i) NB Moray Street (Existing: Asphalt Pavement Structure) – Portage Avenue to Ness Avenue; also includes Concrete Repairs on PCC Pavement between Ness Avenue Intersection to asphalt Pavement on Moray Street, both NB and SB sections; and
(ii) SB St. Anne’s Road (Existing: Asphalt Overlay on Concrete Pavement Structure) – Meadowood Drive to Nova Vista Drive;
(c) Asphalt Shoulder Reconstruction
(i) WB Chief Peguis Trail – 250m West of Henderson Highway to Main Street.
D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Concrete Pavement Preservation
(i) Renewal of existing concrete slabs and joints with full depth concrete repairs;
(ii) Partial depth joint repairs of existing joints;
(iii) Miscellaneous curb, splash strip and median renewals;
(iv) Joint sealing; and
(v) Diamond Grinding (SB Main Street, NB Main Street).
(b) Asphalt Mill and Fill
(i) Asphalt Milling (average thickness 50 mm);
(ii) Miscellaneous curb, splash strip and median renewals;
(iii) Asphalt pavement patching (NB Moray Street);
(iv) Renewal of existing concrete slabs and joints with full depth concrete repairs (SB St. Anne’s Road);
(v) Placement of asphalt overlay (average thickness 50 mm); and
(vi) Reflective crack sealing.
(c) Asphalt Shoulder Reconstruction
