Description

The City of Winkler (the “City”) invites the submission of a Statement of Qualifications from interested Prestressed Tank Contractors, for the provision of contracting or sub-contracting services, for the George Avenue Reservoir Upgrades Project. The purpose of the Qualification submission is to shortlist Contractors with appropriate experience and expertise in engineering, evaluation, design and construction of modifications of prestressed concrete tanks that are designed and constructed to the AWWA D110 Type III Standard. The project will involve work in and adjacent to an existing prestressed tank.

The description of this scope of work is intended to provide a qualitative overview of the Prestressed Tank retrofit for the below floor piping replacement at the Winkler George Avenue Reservoir. This portion of this project to be completed by a prequalified Tank Contractor. Quantitative references are approximate only and are provided as a guide to the magnitude of work, and the expected capability of firms intending to pre-qualify for the Bid. It is expected that construction will start in early October 2021. Work is to be completed by December 15, 2021.

The Request for Qualification shall be a clear and concise presentation of the required information. Each page shall be single sided, 8.5 x 11, 10 pt Arial font, single line spacing. Maximum page numbers for each section are indicated below. Information presented which exceeds the maximum allotted page numbers may not be reviewed or considered in the evaluation of the RFQ submission. The RFQ submission should be organized as follows:
