Description

The Work to be done under this Contract consists of asphalt patching and the milling and filling of asphalt alongside specified sections of concrete curb and gutter at various locations in the City of Winkler for a unit price remuneration, in accordance with the Contract Documents.

The major items of Work are described as follows:
a) Sawcutting and Excavation of Asphalt Breakouts
b) Supply and Placement Granular A-Base (Modified) (as required)
c) Supply and Placement Class “A” Modified Asphalt Patching (min. 100mm thickness)
d) Milling of existing asphalt along gutter lines and the supply and placement of asphalt along the gutter lines.

Bids shall be made on the Bid Form provided and shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked and addressed as follows:

must be delivered to the Closing Place before the Bid Closing Time of:
2:00 p.m. local time on June 6th, 2018.
Any Bids received after the Bid Closing Time shall be returned to the Bidder unopened.
Bids will be opened and read in public at a location, time and date as specified above.
Bids will be analyzed by the Owner after which a Contact may or may not be awarded, subject to the discretion of the Owner.
The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.

Bid Documents shall be available from the Planning & Engineering office, City Hall. No deposit will be required for each bid document and/or drawing set provided.
