Project Description

1. The Work to be done under this Contract consists of two 50mm lifts of asphalt pavement construction in the City of Winkler for a unit price remuneration, in accordance with the Contract Documents.
2. The major items of Work are:
  1. 100mm thick Asphalt Pavement – Approx. 3,375 m2.

All measurements provided are estimates. The Owner reserves the right to award the Contract to any Bidder considering the prices and pursuant to clauses regarding acceptability and evaluation of Bids.

Bids shall be made on the Bid Form provided and shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked and addressed as follows:

must be deposited in the Tender Box located in the Engineering Department offices of the City of Winkler before the Bid Closing Time of 2:00 p.m. local time on June 20th, 2019
Any Bids received after the Bid Closing Time or not deposited in Tender Box shall be returned to the Bidder unopened.

Bid Documents shall be available from the office of the Director of Engineering, City Hall.

The Owner and the Contract Administrator shall not be responsible for lost or misplaced Bids, or amendments to Bids, if it hasn’t been placed in the Tender Box by the Bidder.
