Description

The City of Dauphin is accepting proposals for the replacement of the existing HVAC control system in the designated heritage building known as the Dauphin Canadian Northern Railway Station, 101 – 1st Ave NW, Dauphin, Manitoba. The station is owned by the City of Dauphin and was extensively renovated in 2002. The building now houses several offices on three floors of the building along with a rail museum and storage space in the basement. The renovations in 2002 included the installation of entirely new HVAC systems throughout the building. The only exception was the reuse of the existing boiler, which is still in use today. Over the last few years, the lack of a user interface to the HVAC control systems has proven problematic, and the City wishes to replace the control system with new technology that will provide a better management and user experience.
