Description

Graphic Production and Installation – Mandela Exhibition
With this Request for Proposals, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (“CMHR”) is soliciting proposals to provide exhibition graphic production and installation. Please provide with this RFP a proposed time to produce all elements listed below as well as schedule required for installation.
The CMHR intends to offer this exhibition for national tour following its display in Winnipeg. As such, elements of the exhibition are to be designed with travelling in mind, ensuring ease in transport and installation, using durable materials suited to long term display and strike/restrikes of the exhibition. Fabrications of elements within this RFP need to follow this same methodology, ensuring pieces developed are modular, self-contained and easily able to be assembled and installed. Ease to crate for transport should be considered. Design and fabrication of crate for safe and secure transportation is NOT part of this work scope.

To ensure timelines are met, the CMHR may award this work to more than one Proponent, at its sole discretion.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Submissions shall be submitted on, and in accordance with, forms supplied by the CMHR. All responses are to be submitted to the CMHR through the use of MERX Electronic Bid Submission (EBS). Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Proposals in the manner and time prescribed.
RFP Documents and all amendments will be available only through MERX distribution. Any response from a Proponent whose name does not appear on the official MERX document request list (i.e. who has not downloaded the documents themselves) will be declared invalid, and the Proposal will not be considered.
