OVERVIEW
The Museum is committed to provide a sustainable environment for its visitors and employees that ensures a healthy and safe experience while delivering services and quality standards acceptable to its visitors, building occupants, and property management.

The specifications have been developed as a guideline to deliver a green cleaning service that meets the requirements of LEED Certification. The specifications reflect the foundation of service delivery and the frequencies are considered to be the minimum required to achieve customer satisfaction. It is expected that the contractor will utilize the latest cleaning technologies and best practices to achieve high standards on a consistent basis.

In an effort to enhance the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), the CMHR’s Green Housekeeping Plan and the Contractor’s Green Cleaning programs are to be followed. It is expected that a continuous improvement culture will be nurtured with the contractors’ staff to ensure the best possible outcomes from year to year.

The Museum will expect a high level of accountability through communication and reporting from the contractor in delivering a pro-active approach as opposed to a reactive form with guidance from the site manager and routine executive reviews.
