The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified Proponents to provide software licensing or subscription for a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution that will be implemented within the Manitoba Government. The solution could be deployed on premise or via the Cloud as Software-as-a-Service (SAAS). Manitoba prefers a solution that can be hosted on premise.
The RPA solution must be capable of running unattended automation tasks in the back-end on Virtual Machine workstations (VMs). The RPA solution may also be capable of running attended/unattended automation tasks on front-end workstations. The RPA solution must meet Manitoba’s Requirements “out of the box” without any source code changes (please note that configuration changes are acceptable).
Manitoba is expecting to procure, separate from this RFP, an RPA implementation team to provide the services to setup and, configure the initial RPA solution. Manitoba is expecting to procure, separate from this RFP, an RPA support team for the services to provide ongoing support and enhancements to the RPA program,
Proponents must provide Manitoba with pricing for an RPA solution that includes:
- Central management and deployment software, plus 10 bots to begin with. Include any other optional growth pricing.
- Software licenses or subscriptions for three environments: DEV, UAT, and Prod.
- Services for ongoing technical support for Manitoba’s RPA Implementation and Support teams
- License maintenance if applicable.
- Training options (online, classroom, train the trainer, etc.)
Manitoba will enter into an agreement with the Proponent who submits a Proposal that best serves the interests of Manitoba when evaluated in accordance with the stated evaluation criteria.
The agreement will include one-time supply and ongoing software support for the system based on the term of three (3) years plus two (2) optional one (1) year extensions. Pricing will be evaluated on the total cost over five (5) years.
