Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified Proponents to provide an Information Technology solution and associated project delivery services for a provincial learning management system (LMS) platform. The LMS platform will support:

The delivery of distance courses (or courses delivered at a distance) for Manitoba students who wish to complete grades 9 – 12 courses for credit towards a Manitoba high school diploma;
The delivery of distance courses on a continuous intake basis as well as a scheduled intake basis;
K-12 teachers in Manitoba school divisions offering web-based courses in a blended learning format;
Teachers delivering courses to adult learners; and
Government staff and teachers in designing and building distance and web-based courses.

Manitoba intends to engage a Proponent that has the capability and proven expertise to plan, deliver, and support a solution that best meets the business, technical, project delivery, and operational requirements provided in this RFP.
