Brandon University seeks to employ Construction Management Services to carryout the following renovations and upgrades to the following:
Health Studies Building: Develop additional office space on the main floor by redeveloping approx. 70 sq.m. of existing rooms and on the lower level redevelop approx. 30 sq.m. of open area.
Clark Hall Annex: Eliminate existing Print shop and relocate Mail Room and paper storage, remove existing loading dock, develop a classroom, two simulation rooms, viewing room, staging area, storage closets and accessible washroom. The area of renovations is approx.270 sq.m. The mailroom and paper storage must be relocated and operational prior to start of renovations.
Physical Plant: Develop space within existing shop area for paper storage and e-waste recycle centre, and modify Reception Area to include Mail Service. The area of renovations is approx.70 sq.m.
Mechanical Work: will include modifications to existing HVAC, plumbing and sprinkler systems to suit new floor plan.
Electrical Work: will include connection to existing building automation, electrical, door access systems, cable and data connections, and emergency systems.
Scope of services and important dates are included in the attached RFP documentation. This project will commence no later than April 1, 2022 and work must be completed and ready for occupancy by August 26, 2022.
