ERP System for Brandon University - issued Aug.12, 2019
Brandon University wishes to acquire and implement an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system encompassing all the necessary functionality of an integrated Student Information System (SIS), Financial Information System (FIS), Human Resources and Human Capital Management System (HRIS), Advancement and Alumni Information System (AAIS) and Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
This proposed project is an enterprise-wide change to BU's core support systems and business processes. The objective is to replace the existing core administrative applications and align associated business processes underlying the functions of Recruitment and Admissions, Advising, Student Records and Registration, Human Resources, Finance, Alumni and Advancement. This will include identifying and procuring appropriate software, as well as implementing the software and new work processes in that software, and integration for all of the above with required exising related applications (for example: library, meal services, IT, Learning Management System, facilities, bookstore, etc.)
The University is seeking an intuitive, modern user interface that provides the same ease of use through browser and device agnostic access that the University community would expect from a major commercial website (e.g., Google or Amazon). A high importance is place on self service functionality and portals as entry points to the system and information centres for students and employees. The desired solution will have reporting and analytics leading to informed decision-making constituents throughout the University.
The University anticipates awarding the contract during the first quarter of 2020 and engaging in and 18 to 24 month implementation schedule, with staggered go-live dates, and an ongoing relationship with the selected vendor(s) for maintenance and support.
