Description

Brandon University is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to renew the student, residence room furniture for Darrach Hall. Darrach Hall was built in 1962 and has approximately 70 dorm rooms. The majority of the its rooms were originally designed to house two students in each space. Darrach Hall is a traditional style building, with communal washrooms and much of the building is in its origianl state. Student rooms provide sleeping and study space with built in closets.

Based on the trend of recent years, we are moving to single occupancy in this building and as such the renewal will see 70 complete furniture sets to be installed in Darrach Hall. Brandon University seeks modern furniture that is not only inspiring to new students, but will also be long lasting and functional. Furniture sets per room to include, but not limited to:

Double Bed Frame, with optional storage (no mattress)
Headboard (optional) with storage (optional)
Dresser/Storage Unit
Desk
Hutch (optional)
Study Chair
Night Stand (optional)
Lamp (optional)
