GS2022-63-P-7583 - Unit Refresh

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Labour, Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) on behalf of the owner of the project, Manitoba Housing & Renewal Corporation (“Owner”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a Unit Refresh as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).

CPPD requires the services of a Contractor for a Unit Refresh for one single-family unit of 3 bedroom within a town House of 72-78 Brandon Cres, Thompson. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, Interior and Exterior Renovation including electrical, mechanical and fire life safety works. Work site location will not be occupied during construction.

CPPD is administering this RFP process. For the purposes of this procurement process, the “RFP Contact” will be:

Proponents and their representatives are not permitted to contact any employees, officers, agents, elected or appointed officials, or other representatives of Manitoba or CPPD other than the RFP Contact, concerning matters regarding this RFP. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in the disqualification of the proponent and the rejection of the proponent’s proposal.

An optional site visit has been scheduled as follows:
Location: 76 Brandon Cres., Thompson, MB
Date and Time: January 10, 2023 2:00 PM local time

Proponents are to meet at 76 Brandon Cres. Thompson, MB prior to 2:00 PM to sign the site attendance sheet. Attendance at the site visit will be confirmed and recorded. If proponents are not available to attend the above scheduled optional site visit, but still wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the RFP Contact.

Proponents are not entitled to rely on information received from CPPD, the Owner’s representatives or other third parties at the site visit unless the RFP Contact has provided the information in writing.

Deadline for questions January 19, 2023. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca. CPPD will only address questions that were sent to this email address.

Bid submission deadline is January 26, 2023 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of Proposal submission will be accepted.
