18-2946-003 - Prime Contractor Pre-Qualification

Manitoba Finance (MF) is in the process of tendering a project involving a Boiler Upgrade at the Manitoba Developmental Centre located at 840 - 3rd Street NE., Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

The Manitoba Developmental Centre an accredited residential facility providing care, supervision and developmental programs for adults with an intellectual disability. The Manitoba Development Power House contains the steam boilers and equipment for distributing steam to buildings on the complex for heat, meal preparation, laundry services and domestic water heating. There are two boilers sized for winter load and one sized for summer load. This project involves replacement of the 435 HP summer steam boiler, ancillary equipment and piping in the Powerhouse. As Phase One of the tendering process, KGS Group is pre-qualifying experienced Prime Contractors to bid on this project.

KGS Group is inviting interested Prime Contractors to submit their company information and other information required by KGS Group on or before 2:00PM May 10, 2019 at 3rd Floor - 865 Waverley Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 5P4. Refer to the attached information package for project details. Contractors are required to complete the submission form and all attached information required by KGS Group.
