The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Central Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery, seeks to prequalify general contractors to provide services for the construction of the new pre-engineered live fire training burn structure at the Manitoba Emergency Services (MES) College Practical Training Site located at 105 Agnew Drive in Brandon, Manitoba.
The Office of the Fire Commissioner (OFC) is the owner of the project. PICO Architecture is acting as the Prime Consultant responsible for preparation of the construction documents and construction administration for the project.
The successful proponent will serve as the General Contractor and be responsible for construction of the new training tower and pump house upgrades. The OFC has procured a pre-fabricated pre-engineered steel live fire training building structure from WHP Training Towers, Kansas, USA.
The scope of work for this project will include the erection/installation of the new pre-engineered training tower, site development, pump upgrades, and construction of the expanded pump house.
Deadline for questions is April 15, 2021. All questions are to be submitted to cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca.
Submission deadline is April 22, 2021 @ 2:00:00 Central Daylight Time. Proponents must submit their Proposal through electronic submission by upload to MERX. No other form of submission will be accepted.
