Description

Number TEN Architectural Group on behalf of Manitoba Finance, Accommodation Services Division (ASD), is inviting General Contractors to prequalify for General Contracting Services to renovate four (4) residential units at Women’s Correctional Centre to allow for additional occupancy counts and different functionality overall.

Work of this Contract comprises code required changes to double occupancy of the Kilo Units within the secure campus at the Women’s Correctional Centre in Headingley Manitoba.
Kilo Units 1, 2 & 3

Convert the pantry to a new barrier -free staff washroom;
Convert the Multipurpose room to a 2-person staff office;
Add a metal egress stair with exit door, from the second floor (applicable only for Kilo 1 &2).

Kilo Unit 4

Convert 5 bedrooms to 5 offices to accommodate 2 staff per room.
Remove a pocket door and replace with a swing door.

Proponents shall submit their proposal in both of the following formats:

One (1) original (identified as such on the cover) and three (3) hardcopies of the proposal. Include a letter of transmittal on the Proponent's letterhead, signed by the appropriate officer(s), and
A portable USB drive containing an electronic copy (PDF format) of the proposal.
