Description

Background

The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Central Services, Accommodation Services Division, seeks to select a qualified Contractor through a Two (2) envelope procurement process to provide flooring replacement (including all labour, materials, supplies and equipment) for Robert Fletcher Building, 1181 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to obtain Bids from qualified Contractors to provide the Work described in this RFT and for Manitoba to enter into an Agreement with the Bidder whose Bid is judged to best serve the interests of Manitoba when evaluated in accordance with the stated evaluation criteria.

The RFT solicitation contains mandatory and point-rated technical evaluation criteria, and the basis of selection will be

responsive bid with a minimum pass mark of 70% and
lowest evaluated price.

The Agreement shall commence at contract award and complete as per the specified delivery schedules identified in section F5.0 – Critical Dates.

See Appendix “A” - Specifications and Drawings for a full description of the Work sought.

Site Examination
1. Bidders MUST attend a site examination / visit on February 7, 2020 at 9:30 am.
2. Bidders shall meet in the Main Lobby at Robert Fletcher Building, 1181 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
